Good Day Rafik,
I wanted to write you while this is fresh in my mind (as we're still in Cairo at the Intercontinental Pyramids).
I cannot tell you how impressed we have been at the level of personal attention and customer service exhibited by each and every one of your tour guides, drivers, greeters and staff we have encountered while dealing with Sakkara Tours during our Egypt trip.
I can only count my blessings that the North American Tour Operator we used to help with our Egypt trip decided to use Sakkara Tours for the Egypt portion of our vacation (another tour operator was being discussed, but eventually we opted out from using their company).
Just to let you know, we are currently on Day #70 of our 75-day vacation (we started on Sept 1!). As a travel agency owner, who has dealt with numerous suppliers and also has been on many, many tours in the past 70 days, I can honestly say Sakkara Tours is the ONLY supplier I feel compelled to contact because of COMPLETE SATISFACTION with your entire staff.
We have dealt with Michael who met us on our arrival in Cairo and he has kept up to date on our whereabouts while in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor. Michael made sure our tour guide in Cairo, Samal Gamal met us on time, and that everything was attended to in the most professional and timely manner. While we would have liked to have more time and tours in Cairo, we will certainly request Samal again when we come back (which we DEFINATELY will).
While in Aswan & Luxor, our tour guide Omar was beyond fantastic with his personal service, not just for us, but for EVERYONE in our group. I cannot praise his attention to detail and service enough, and highly recommend using his services as a tour guide. **Note: He personally attended to some of the people who had gotten ill during our Nile cruise, and made sure they were feeling better. He made sure the boat was aware they were unwell, and to bring them some fluids to keep them well. This, in my opinion, is above and beyond any tour guide's normal duties, and its certainly above and beyond the level of service I've witnessed of any tour guide I've ever used. So MAJOR commendation for Omar!!
Again, I can't thank you enough, and I wish to praise again all the fantastic tour guides, professional drivers and just superb staff employed by Sakkara. People make our tourism industry, and your people are really the best. We will certainly use your company again, and I look forward to promoting Sakkara tours to our clients from Canada!

I know it must have been difficult dealing with me and you must have wondered why I was doing some of the things I was doing ... so I really appreciate your flexibility and willingness to make it work. During the trip, I spoke to 3-4 people who knew you, and they all said the same thing: that you are wonderful to deal with and take great care of your customers - I already knew that, but it made me feel fortunate to have been able to work with you.

Dear Mohammed
Further to my telephone call earlier today, this is purely an opportunity for me, and my wife, to thank the representatives of Sakkara Travel that we met over the past two weeks during our all too short stay in Egypt, for their exemplary service.
From the moment that we arrived in Cairo on Sunday 17th February to the time we said our last farewells in Hurghada on Friday 29th February, the service we received was first class.
It is very often all about first impressions, and these can all too often be tainted following a lengthy journey. But to be met with a happy face on arrival in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada and then be whisked through whatever formalities had to be contended with at each location, with the least amount of effort, went a long to set up a most memorable holiday.
Please convey as best you can our gratitude for the part played by those representing Sakkara Travel in Egypt and I can assure you that your company has gained two people who will be happy to promote your service to friends and colleagues alike.

Just a note to let you know how great our trip to Egypt was. Every thing went like clock work, the porters, the transfers, the meals,
the flights the tours. All perfect. Our guide was outstanding we called him Travel Zoo Bob, he made the trip. Great value for the dollar! O
ne tip for those who go would be to take American dollars only and lots of small bills. I would highly recommend this trip to all.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank your group for orchestrating such a wonderful tour of Egypt on our recent visit. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it and are still reflecting on the wonders we experienced.
More importantly, your entire staff we had contact with was always helpful and polite. We cannot imagine a more capable tour guide than Ehab (Bob, as was known to us). His enthusiasm, friendliness and obvious love of his wonderful country were awe-inspiring.

I met with you during my RTA Travel group trip to Egypt Dec 7-21st, on the SS Mojito. I wanted you to know how much we all enjoyed it, particularly the 4 night cruise on the Nile. Everything went very smoothly and the cruise was excellent. The staff,the accommodations, the delicious cuisine and the shore excursions were among the best that I have ever experienced. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the vessel as well as the attention I received from the entire staff. The Spa experience was top notch as well.

Dear Omar,
We have been back from our trip for a week now, and finally feeling grounded again.
I am writing this note on behalf of everyone in the 'Yvonne Party' to thank you for a wonderful trip. Sakkara Tours made excellent arrangements. Mr.Yasser Anwar was very accommodating to our requests for adjustments, even though we didn't meet or talk. We did ask, and got to include both Kanark Temple and Luxor Temple on our last day of Nile cruise.
The Cairo representative from Sakkara, Mr. Ihab Nagui, is very attentive. He arranged for us to have a host dinner at his cousin's house where we also met his mother and his sister's family. It was a truly enjoyable and insightful evening, albeit with a little more excitement than planned. I will tell you about it in person sometime.
We are very impressed with our guide, Mr. Henry Ayoub, who is not only a knowledgeable Egyptologist, but also very proficient in time-control and getting ahead of crowds to give us the best views of the sites. To top it all, he is also personable and VERY handsome. He was quite gracious in extending his services on our last day in Luxor to cover all four important sites plus the Luxor Museum. His special connection to the Monastery of St. Macarius in Wadi Natrun made our visit there very special.
The Nile cruise was great, we liked the boat M/S Mojito very much, only wished we could have one more day in Luxor. Henry gave us a brief history of modern Egypt one afternoon on the top deck, while the scenery of the Nile drift by. It was memorable.
Mr. Salah el dine Mohammed, our guide at Sharm el Sheik, took very good care of us, all the way to boarding the ferry at Nuweiba. He is full of joy and very good looking as well.
Jordan Circle Tours is also very proficient. Our lady guide Enas Zaqzouq is friendly and very competent. The full day in Petra was most delightful. And after floating on the Dead Sea, she even took us to Amman's downtown souk to get falafel making gadget and good cookies to bring home. The cookies are a big hit!
Of course, the sights of the great Pyramids, the temples, tombs, fortresses and the amazing Bibliotheca Alexandrina will remain indelibly in our minds forever.

Hi,
I am planning to fax the paper review form, but I wanted to send this to mention
a few people individually.
In the New Jersey office I wanted to mention Maria Garcia. She is so gracious
and patient in answering all my questions.
I had a wonderful time on my trip. The organization of STI was impeccable. The
transfer personnel were always punctual and very friendly. I never had to wait
for anyone, not even when my initial flight into Cairo arrived over a hour
early!
My tour coordinator and transfer person in Cairo, Ahmed Salah, was especially
good at his job. He was always smiling when he greeted me at the airport or
picked me up the my hotel. He seemed to know everyone and was able to wisk me
through the airport in no time at all. He made me feel extremely comfortable in
a foreign country, which sometimes can be difficult when traveling solo. He
laughed easily and was easy to be around. Anything I needed, he made it happen.
Just like that!
I was also pleasantly surprised when I had a private car and a private guide in
Cairo. When I asked my guide why I was not with a small group, he said "private
is much better". I sincerely agreed and was not about to argue with him!
My tour guide in Cairo, Ahmed Dahab, was a really great guide. He was able to
make Egypt come alive for me. What he taught me about Egypt and it's people,
made the remaining days of my trip so much more enjoyable. He was very
knowledgeable and was able to relay that knowledge effectively. He was also very
friendly and offered to take my picture at all the sites. I very much
appreciated that!
My guide, Moustafa Bahr, on the Lake Nasser cruise was also very good. I'm not
sure if he works for STI or the ship itself. If he does not work for STI, maybe
he should. We had a very difficult person in our group of six and he handled the
situation very professionally. He is really good, and a very nice person.

I have been meaning to email you since returning from this year's Cape to Cairo Gold Tour. I write belatedly to thank you for your arrangement in Egypt. Everything worked very well thank you. And thank you kindly for providing larger than necessary vehicles for my small group.
In particular I wish to extend my compliments to two individuals of the same name: Bas, out local guide in Egypt and Basem, our transfer guide in Cairo. Both were outstanding in terms of their professionalism, knowledge, friendship and assistance with my four elderly clients. They were both top class, couldn't have been better and should be complimented as they were wonderful representatives for Sakkara and ambassadors for your country.
In fact Bas is one of the best local guides I have ever worked with. I have worked with him twice now on two C to C tours and on both occasions, the majority of pax have nominated him as the best local guide on the entire five week Cape to Cairo Tour.
Please make a note that I would like to work with them both again when I next return to Egypt with another Cape to Cairo Gold Tour.

It is not often that I take the time to write a letter regarding my experiences, but in this case I had to ensure I delivered feedback on my recent trip to Egypt.
I visited Egypt in March for two week, I was fortunate enough to have been assigned to Sakkara Tours and I was equally lucky to have Rafik Samual as my tour escort. The outstanding service started from day one, Rafik greeted us promptly as we arrived in Cairo, and the outstanding service started there as he began to arrange everything for us such as the baggage and the paperwork. From day one Rafik's attention to my well being and comfort was amazing, I never had a question that went unanswered, he was there to assist me with anything I needed whether it was changing currency to advising me where to shop. He was welcoming and made all of us feel comfortable and taken care off throughout our trip. It was like having the best husband in the world right beside me!
I have travelled extensively in both North America, the Caribbean and Europe and I must say that this experience has surpassed them all and it was as a direct result of the attention and customer service that I received from Rafik.
I wanted to ensure that Sakkara Tours realized what an amazing person they have on their team and the job that Rafik did received the attention that it deserves.
Thank-you again Rafik (you are such a kind and patient man) and Sakkara for an unbelievable experience, I am so looking forward to my next trip to Egypt! and will recommend your company to anyone planning on visiting.

Thank you for the champange, another lovely touch. As too was the box found in our cabin – thank you.
It will hold some treasured things from our holiday and will be a constant reminder of what a truly fabulous time we had.
As promised here are our thoughts on our recent holiday.
From the moment we stepped off the plane in Cairo, and were met by Mohamed Mamdouh, we knew that we were in for a treat. Arrangements all went perfectly - nothing was too much trouble for anyone that we met along the way. Everything was taken care of for us to perfection. This was actually very reassuring when faced with a culture so very, very different to our own. Mohamed was always keen to ensure that everything was as we wanted and that we were happy. A charming, helpful and interesting man.
Our tour guide on Oberoi Philae, Ahmed Naqi was exceptional. His knowledge of Egypt, fired by his passion and enthusiasm for his subject was contagious. Ahmed truly made our tours of the temples fascinating. I honestly think that Ahmed made the factual/historical part of the holiday very special for us. He brought everything to life - it was wonderful to listen to all the facts/information that he knew. Ahmed was also concerned that things were OK and that we were doing the trips/visits that we wanted to. When he took us to various shops/markets he made sure that we were not hassled too much by vendors - this made things much more pleasant and enjoyable for us. They have a very different way of selling over there don't they !
The Mena House hotel was wonderful - but in a setting like that how could it fail not to be!
People, service, food, rooms, cleanliness, attention to detail - all exceptional.
Oberoi Philae - what a boat! The height of luxury. Again, nothing was too much for anyone. People were all so charming, helpful, friendly - all ensuring that we had all we wanted. A truly wonderful experience. We were welcomed into the galley - without having to advise the chef beforehand - cleanliness and organisation were very good - reflected in a wonderfully high standard of food. Pastries/desserts twice a day - how could anyone resist! We both feel that the quality and standard of the food was exceptional and could not be bettered.
The hot air balloon trip took our breath away. Flying over temples as the sun rose was a “Kodak moment”. Looking down into the huts/houses was eye opening – children in the field with their families working, taking donkeys down to water – just was all very emotional.
The pyramids themselves were all, and more, that I had hoped they would be. I was truly mesmerised and captivated by them.
Overall, as I think you can tell, we had an absolutely fantastic holiday - truly a holiday of a lifetime. I would hope to return to the pyramids one day and would like to think that we could meet with Muhammad and Ahmed again, in particular, if we do.
Janet - I would particularly like you to, if you can, ensure that our feedback on Mohamed and Ahmed get to the right people so that they are aware of what exceptional guides these two are and what an impact they actually had on our enjoyment of the holiday. Thank you.

Thank you for arranging the visit that my wife and I paid to Egypt between 28 August and 1 September. I am glad to say that everything went well.
The administrative arrangements at the Cairo end, managed by Maged Badr, were excellent. The hotel, the Sonesta, has all the facilities a tourist could ask for. For our major touristic expeditions Maged Badr provided a first-class driver called Omar. He also provided an excellent guide, (Hajja) Hoda Hafez.
Overall, the trip enabled my wife and me enjoyably to fill in some of the gaps in our touristic knowledge of both Cairo and Alexandria.

I just wanted to give you some feedback on STI and Sakkara tours in Egypt. Please feel free to pass this along. I cannot say enough good things about the Tour company. All reps were prompt, courteous and just plain nice and fun. You know I ask a lot of questions- I always want to know about other cultures and daily life. We got to know our Tour reps and really enjoyed them. Walid as well as Enje our guide and Badr our driver in Cairo were wonderful . We also enjoyed our guide on the Cruise Robert Rafeek who helped us from Luxor to Aswan. The Hotel and boat staff were very nice to us. We even got upgraded to the Presidential suite on the boat when the AC had a problem. All aspects of our trip were wonderful. This was our first time in such a foreign country and having our reps always waiting to guide us was a great relief. I would not hesitate to use STI or to recommend them. Feel free to have any questions sent to me- I would be happy to help anyone considering this trip. I will also be posting on Trip Advisor since I found very little to recommend this group and tour when I was doing research. Thank you for all the time and trouble you took for us, and for answering my many questions. We had a great trip!
